Our Facilities

In mid-2008, the Yucatan herd was moved to a state-of-the-art facility.  This strategic move was the result of a change of ownership, and the desire to continue to lead the industry regarding herd care and health. 

The new facility has been designed with the biomedical research community in mind.  This site has implemented the latest technology in:

• Bio-Security
• Climate Control
• Air Purification
• Specialty segregation

Moving the herd to this new location was strategic for the continued health of the herd, while also addressing a costly portion of the research animals, transportation.  The move to the new facility also allows LoneStar to service a majority of the industry.
